When your office calls a customer, their carrier looks up a name for your number in the national caller-name (CNAM) database. Many business lines come back blank, under a staff member's name, or with a leftover value like "GROUP". For US$149 we check every number you call from, file the corrections, write the change request for your phone provider, and look the numbers up again 30 days later.
Illustrative number and name. Caller names are capped at 15 characters, so we help you pick one that still reads well when cut.
In October 2026 we looked up 200 Chicago dental office numbers before offering this service anywhere. The owners of those practices had no reason to know: you never see your own caller name, because you're never the one receiving the call. Recall, reminder and callback calls suffer most, since the customer isn't expecting them.
From our own test of 200 Chicago dental office numbers, October 28, 2026, using Twilio's Lookup service. Some carriers show names from their own data, so a lookup is a strong guide to what a called phone displays, not proof of it.
The caller name sits in more than one place. The registries feed the services that label calls on the big US networks, and your phone provider controls the name filed for your number. We handle the first and write the second for you to send.
You answer five questions and send one message to your phone provider. We do the lookups, the filings and the writing.
The name to show on calls (15 characters at most), your legal name, address and website, every outgoing number, your phone provider and account holder, and a contact for the registries. Payment is US$149 by card through Stripe.
We look up every number and save what the database returns, its line type and its carrier. That's the baseline the day-30 report compares against.
We submit the Free Caller Registry filing, plus direct filings with Hiya, First Orion or TNS if a spam label shows, and email you what was filed and when.
A short request naming your numbers and the new name, with the exact steps for your provider's admin settings or support ticket.
Email it, paste it into a support chat or read it out on the phone, then tell us it's gone. The name won't change until the provider acts, so we'll nudge you if it hasn't.
The same lookup on every number, with a one-page report setting the new result next to the old one. Not changed yet? We check once more 30 days later at no charge.
Print it for the front desk or forward it to whoever handles your phone account. It covers:
Your number is on your Google listing and your website. The caller-name lookup is a standard carrier database query that anyone can run; we use Twilio's Lookup service. It reads the same national database that carriers query when your office calls someone. We never need access to your phone account.
Yes. Registering at the Free Caller Registry costs nothing, and your phone provider changes the caller name when the account holder asks. What the fee covers is knowing which filings apply, getting them right, finding the steps for your particular provider, and two lookups that show whether it worked.
No one can promise that. The registries, the carriers and your provider decide what name or label appears, and some mobile carriers use their own data. We sell the filings and the before/after checks. If the name hasn't changed by day 30, we look at why (usually the provider request is still pending) and check again 30 days later for free.
That's the length the caller-name database stores. "Lincoln Park Family Dentistry" becomes "LINCOLN PARK FA" if nobody plans it, so we suggest a version that still reads as your business when cut.
No. The US$149 covers every outgoing number your office uses: the main line, a recall line, call-tracking numbers. Tell us about all of them in your answers.
Not yet. The caller-name lookup we use doesn't cover Canadian numbers, so we couldn't show you a before and after. The service is for US numbers only.
Any US business whose calls to customers matter: dental and medical offices that phone patients about recalls and appointments, home-service trades calling back about quotes, auto shops, clinics and property managers.
Send us your business name and the numbers your office calls from. We'll reply with what the database returns for each one today, the five intake questions and a payment link.
